1. Copyright Protection
All content appearing on this website (plywall.com), social media channels owned by PLYWALL® or Cosurac or projects under contract, including but not limited to text, photographs, videos, graphics, illustrations, designs, specifications, technical drawings, installation guides, sound test data, logos, product imagery, and written materials, is owned by PLYWALL® (Cosurac Distributors, LLC) or its licensors and is protected under United States and international copyright laws.
© 2025 PLYWALL • Cosurac Distributors, LLC. All Rights Reserved.
Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, modification, display, or creation of derivative works from any content on this site or any PLYWALL® materials is strictly prohibited and constitutes copyright infringement punishable by law. No portion of this website, social media channels owned by Plywall® or Cosurac or projects under contract or associated materials may be copied, republished, or used for commercial purposes without prior written consent.
2. Trademark Rights
PLYWALL® is a federally registered trademark of Cosurac Distributors, LLC in the United States and may be registered or pending registration in other jurisdictions.
-
- Registered Marks: PLYWALL® (U.S. Trademark Registration applied for/covered under active filings, including Registration No. 2,964,217 and related registrations/renewals which is owned by Cosurac.)
-
- Common Law Marks: Additional common-law trademark rights exist in the PLYWALL name, styling, and associated branding elements.
The PLYWALL® word mark, stylized logo treatments, taglines (including “The Sound Solution”), and all related branding elements are exclusively owned by Cosurac. Use of these marks without express written permission is prohibited and constitutes trademark infringement and unfair competition under Section 43(a) of the Lanham Act and applicable state laws.
3. Trade Dress Protection
The distinctive overall appearance, configuration, and commercial impression of PLYWALL® Noise Barriers — collectively referred to as the “PLYWALL® Trade Dress” — are protected under federal and state trademark laws (Lanham Act § 43(a)), common law unfair competition doctrines, and applicable state dilution statutes.
The PLYWALL® Trade Dress includes, but is not limited to:
-
- The unique post-and-panel structural system using prefabricated, preservative-treated, kiln-dried wood-framed panels
-
- The characteristic double-sided exterior-grade plywood facing that creates a distinctive layered wood visual texture
-
- The specific proportions, panel sizing, framing details, and interlocking assembly method that produce a recognizable uniform wall appearance
-
- The overall visual impression of a solid, continuous, natural-wood noise abatement wall
-
- Associated color schemes (natural wood tones and standard finishes), surface patterning, and installation aesthetics that consumers associate exclusively with PLYWALL® products
This Trade Dress is inherently distinctive and enjoys substantial consumer recognition in the marketplace as identifying PLYWALL® as the sole source of these premium wood noise barrier systems. It is non-functional in its totality and in its individual elements.
Any unauthorized copying, imitation, manufacture, sale, or distribution of products that replicate or substantially resemble the PLYWALL® Trade Dress — including “knock-off” or “look-alike” noise barriers — constitutes trade dress infringement, unfair competition, and dilution. We will vigorously pursue all available remedies, including injunctive relief, actual damages, disgorgement of profits, treble damages, punitive damages, and attorneys’ fees.
4. Patent Protection
Certain innovations incorporated into PLYWALL® Noise Barriers, including panel construction methods, acoustic performance features, and installation systems, may be covered by one or more issued U.S. patents, pending patent applications, or international patent filings. Patent markings will be updated on products and documentation as applicable.
Unauthorized making, using, selling, offering for sale, or importing of products embodying our patented technology constitutes patent infringement under 35 U.S.C. § 271.
5. General Reservation of Rights
Access to this website or purchase of PLYWALL® products does not grant any license, implied or otherwise, to any of our intellectual property rights. Cosurac reserves all rights not expressly granted.
We actively monitor the marketplace for infringement and will enforce our intellectual property rights to the fullest extent of the law, including through civil litigation, DMCA takedown notices, customs recordations, and cooperation with law enforcement where counterfeiting or other illegal activity is involved.
